The Stout Student Life Center
Dear Gaston Christian School Family,
It is with great joy that we share an exciting update about one of the most meaningful spaces on our campus. This past November, at Dr. Stout’s retirement dinner, we were honored to present him with the new name for our student life center—The Stout Student Life Center.
This name is more than a title on a building; it is a reflection of Dr. Stout’s vision, leadership, and deep love for the community of Gaston Christian School. From the beginning, Dr. Stout dreamed of a place where genuine koinonia—true Christian fellowship—could flourish. Today, that dream has become a daily reality.
The Stout Student Life Center has grown into a central gathering place where students, teachers, and administrators come together to share meals, build relationships, and enjoy Christ-honoring fellowship. It has become a space where conversations deepen, friendships strengthen, and our school community is nourished both physically and spiritually.
Each morning, the building comes alive as Bible studies meet throughout the space, making full use of the barista and the wonderful breakfast menu that so many have come to enjoy. These routine gatherings are a testimony to the heartbeat of the center—discipleship, connection, and shared life in Christ.
We are grateful for Dr. Stout’s faithful vision that helped shape this place of community, and we pray that the Stout Student Life Center will continue to be a blessing to generations of students and families at Gaston Christian School.
Thank you for celebrating this special moment with us. To God be the glory for all He has done and continues to do through our school.
