Dear GCS Alumni,

With the graduation of the class of 2026, we are now at 1,460 alumni of Gaston Christian.
Since January of 2019, we’ve strived to provide our alumni with several ways to stay connected
with the school and with your classmates. There’s the free Alumni Magazine twice per year,
class reunions, homecoming, and other alumni-specific events. If you’re not receiving the
Alumni Magazine, please scroll down a little on this page and click the “Alumni Contact Update”
to give us your contact information. We only use that information to get you the Alumni
Magazine and to make you aware of alumni events you may want to attend. There are also
dedicated alumni pages on Facebook and Instagram where you can get up-to-date news on
fellow alumni. Come join us!

This school year, there are 1,135 students on the Gastonia campus and 220 students on the
Kings Mountain campus for a total enrollment of 1,355. With this number of students, Gaston
Christian is now the largest private Christian school in the greater Charlotte area. With this
increase, we now compete at the 4A level in all sports.

Alumni represent a huge influence on the school. There are approximately 118 children of
alumni parents currently attending Gaston Christian. In addition to all those alumni children,
there are 22 alumni serving as teachers or on staff. We’ve even had several alumni serve on
the Board of Trustees. All that speaks well for the impact Gaston Christian has had on its
students over the years. If you’re considering your child attending your alma mater, please
know there’s a Legacy Discount available to all alumni.

Come see us sometime if you’re ever in the area, because we’d love to see you. I’ll even buy
you a cup of coffee in the Stout Student Life Center, which is open each school day morning
from 6:30 until 10:30.
