Both students have been named Commended Students in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program, an honor that celebrates their exceptional academic promise and impressive performance on the qualifying exam.
The National Merit Scholarship Program is a prestigious nationwide competition that begins with the PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, taken during a student’s junior year. For the Class of 2026, the cutoff score for Commended Students was 210, placing these students among the top 2–3% of test-takers nationwide.
