Announcement: Dr. Jonathan Huitt Appointed as Next Head of School at Gaston Christian School
On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I am pleased to share that today, February 6, 2026, we officially finalized the appointment of Dr. Jonathan Huitt as the next Head of School for Gaston Christian School. Dr. Huitt has signed his contract and will formally begin his tenure on June 1, 2026. We are excited for the future under his leadership and grateful for the continued support of our school family.
We also wish to express our deep gratitude for the outstanding leadership of Dr. Marc Stout, who continues to mentor Dr. Huitt and guide Gaston Christian School through the remainder of this school year. Dr. Stout’s tireless dedication and faithful service have laid a remarkable foundation, and Dr. Huitt, together with your Board of Trustees, is committed to building upon that legacy as we enter this next chapter.
