Levine service project has special meaning
International Thespian Society News
At each performance of Beauty and the Beast, there is a “Star Table” where you can purchase a star for 50¢. You can write a message to a cast or crew member and it will be delivered to them at the end of the show! Proceeds from star purchases help support our International Thespian Society.
The International Thespian Society has chosen Levine Children’s Hospital as their service project for this year. They are collecting donations at the performances of Beauty and the Beast. We know that healthcare workers are more important now than ever before due to Covid-19 and the International Thespian Society wants to recognize Levine hospital for their excellent work protecting the children of our area. Also, one of our GCS cast members, Allie Guy, holds a special place in her heart for Levine hospital. Earlier this year her sister, Sarah Guy, was admitted and received a heart transplant. Not only was the medical care fantastic, but the doctors and nurses went above and beyond to make her sister feel as comfortable as possible as well. Look for the donation table at the next performance of Beauty and the Beast! The Thespian Society looks forward to being able to make a donation to Levine’s hospital this Spring.
Thank you for your contributions!
