Gaston Christian School staff and families,
We are reaching out to inform you that due to the continued power outage in our area, we have made the decision to cancel school for today (Gastonia campus only). The safety and well-being of our students and staff is our top priority.
Today’s timeline:
- 5:15 AM called that power is off
- Duke Energy originally projected 8:00 AM
- 6:31 AM power flickered on then off again
- Duke Energy is now projecting 11:15 AM which is too late in the day
All Basketball State Games are still on schedule until further notice.
