Gaston Christian School Homecoming – 2020
On Friday, January 17, students, alumni, and faculty of Gaston Christian High School came together to celebrate Homecoming 2020 and to crown Miss Mikayla Gordon as the 2020 Homecoming Queen. The Homecoming Court was comprised of six young ladies from the senior class; in addition, the following underclassmen served as attendants to the Court:
Miss Makenzie Karr, the daughter of Wesley and Amber Karr, represented the Freshman class; Miss Charlotte Witt, daughter of Ty and Cindy Witt, the Sophomore class; Miss Megan Givan, daughter of Alexander and Sherrill Givan, the Junior class.
Six young ladies from the Class of 2020 were on the Senior Court.

Logan, the daughter of Alexander and Sherrill Givan, is a member of the Beta Club and Junior Heart Board and serves as president of the Interact Club; she has also played Varsity Tennis for Gaston Christian. Her plans are to attend the University of South Carolina or Auburn University in the fall.
Miss Mikayla Louise Gordon
Mikayla, crowned the 2020 Homecoming Queen, is the daughter of Thomas and Michelle Gordon; she is a member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society and is strongly involved with the Gaston Christian Theatre Department. Mikayla plans to attend Appalachian State University.
Miss Victoria Lauren Graham
Victoria’s parents are Rodney and Dawn Graham; she is a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society and Junior Heart Board and serves as president of the Spirit Club. She has been a member of both the Varsity Soccer and Cross Country teams. Victoria plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill or the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Miss Taylor Ann Hagaman
Taylor, the daughter of Mike and Ronda Hagaman, is the editor of the Talon staff, a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society and Spirit Club and is the captain of the Varsity Volleyball team. Taylor plans to attend Appalachian State University.
Miss Carley Rebecca Rayne
Carley is the daughter of John and Tracy Rayne and is a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society and Spirit Club and has been on the cheerleading team for four years. Carley is planning to attend Liberty University.
Miss Elsa Morea Traywick
Elsa, the daughter of Larry and Michelle Traywick, is a member of the Beta Club, Junior Heart Board and Spirit Club and has been on the GCHS cheer team for four years. She plans to attend college in the fall.
