Fall Skeet Season Registration begins Tuesday, August 18!

Not only does Gaston Christian School have a Skeet Team, but we were the only GCS athletic team that participated in competition this past spring season. And for our first official Skeet season we had several highlights:

• The team finished third in our conference of eight!
• Corrie Cloninger finished first as overall TOP Female shooter in the conference!
• Josie Cloninger finished second highest Female shooter in the conference!
• Corrie Cloninger shot a perfect 25 straight in one of the matches!

Now it’s your turn… We are inviting middle school through high school students, ages 13 and up, to join us for the fall skeet season! This is a team that accepts anyone interested (after you take and pass the team physical and safety course) – boys and girls who are looking for a team Varsity letter sport they can participate with. We compete in the fall and spring seasons, but practice all school year. There will be a Team meeting in the GCS H/S media center, Tuesday, August 18 at 3:15p

Our team name is: HOLY THUNDER, GCS Shooting Sports and we are looking for:

• 2 Assistant Coaches
• Parent drivers to help with transportation to our Tuesday practices
