Chick-fil-a Leader Academy Supports Boys and Girls Club of Gaston County
Every action we take leaves a lasting impact. As Henry James once said, “Act as if what you do matters, because it does.” The Chick-fil-A Leader Academy is a service-focused organization that teaches students the core principles of leadership. For the May Impact project, the students chose to support the Boys and Girls Club of Gaston County.
The students organized a family movie night, inviting elementary students, parents, and members of the Boys and Girls Club. Everyone arrived in their pajamas, brought blankets, and got comfortable for a fun-filled evening. Chick-fil-A of Gastonia generously donated sandwiches, brownies, and chips, which students sold during the event. Families eagerly purchased concessions, and all proceeds from ticket sales, Chick-fil-A, and snacks were donated to the Boys and Girls Club. It was a wonderful evening enjoyed by all!
