Souper Bowl of Caring
“What would happen if everyone watching the Super Bowl would donate a can of soup?”
This was the question asked by a group of TEENS that started the nationwide campaign of Souper Bowl of Caring to end hunger in our communities. Your non-perishable food items make a difference in the lives of your neighbors!
Gaston Christian School will be participating February 1 – February 5
All proceeds will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.
ITEMS TO DONATE
Early Childhood and Elementary Schools
Canned low sodium soups such as chicken noodle, chicken and rice, beef vegetable, etc.
Middle School
Canned entrees such as Spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli, beef stew, chili, etc.
High School
Canned vegetables
*Please consider healthier options when contributing. Please no dry soups, ramen, or cup of noodles type soups.
