I am thrilled to announce GCS Players is holding auditions for DISNEY’S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

Who: Casting 4th-12 graders

When: January 6-7, 2021 at 3:15 pm (students only need to attend one day of auditions)

Where: M.O. Owens Lobby/Auditorium

What to prepare: 1 monologue (short speech) lasting about 30-60 seconds, 1 song lasting about 60 seconds, comfortable clothes

How auditions will work: Students will sign up in the lobby to audition. Students will be called one by one to the auditorium. Each student will present their monologue and song to the directors. The directors may have the student read from the script. After all, students have been seen and heard, a movement combination will be taught to the group. We will go through the combination several times and then allow students to do it in groups.

***If we are virtual during that week, you may send a video audition with your song and monologue to hbrack@gastonchristian.org

Babette: Female, Soprano

Chip: Either gender, Treble/boy soprano

Mrs. Potts: Female, Mezzo-Soprano

Lefou: Male, Baritone

Lumiere: Male, Baritone

Monsieur D’Arque: Male, Tenor

Narrator: Male, Spoken

Ensemble: Both genders, Variety of voice parts

Silly Girls: Female, Mezzo-Soprano

Enchantress: Female, Silent

Young Prince: Male, Silent
