Reid named a Best & Brightest
Isabella Reid, valedictorian of the Class of 2020, has been named the Gaston Gazette’s Best and Brightest for GCS. Bella contributed strongly during her four years at Gaston Christian High School through not only achievements in the classroom but also involvement with extracurricular activities. She served as both Vice President and President of the National Beta Club and was a member of the National Honor Society and the International Thespian Society. In addition, she was involved with the Mock Trial team for 4 years, serving as a team captain her senior year; with several Mock trial regional and state competitions, Bella returned with attorney awards based upon her performance. At the elementary school, Bella volunteered with an after-school outreach reading program for 1st and 2nd graders. Last summer Bella attended the North Carolina Governor’s School. She will be attending Vassar College in the fall. Congratulations, Bella!
