Congratulations are extended to 8 art students who represented GCS in the 2022-23 NCASA Student Art Showcase. The team won a first-place trophy in the North Carolina Western region!
Students were given the prompt, “What’s so Funny?” and had approximately one month to create their submissions.

In addition, winning state recognition, and an individual 1st place trophy in mixed media, was Chloe Sorrell.
The art from this competition is now displayed in the Owens lobby.
