​Dear GCS friends and family,
On March 6 and 7, we have an exciting opportunity to hear from a world-renowned speaker and contributor to Focus on the Family broadcasts. Jonathan McKee specializes in helping parents and students navigate through the digital world (social media, the internet, screens, etc.). There is a parent session on March 6 at First Wesleyan in Bessemer City. Any parent, of any aged student, can attend. Mr. McKee’s session title is Parenting Generation Screen, and the flier is located below. This session is free of charge, and there is no sign-up required.

We would like to thank First Wesleyan for partnering with us in helping our families have all the tools they need for the spiritual warfare that will attack our homes in this technological world. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

On Monday, March 7, we will follow a chapel schedule because Jonathan McKee will speak to our middle school and high school students about the digital world. Please pray that our students listen and that the Lord opens their hearts and minds to be in this world but not of it.
